CAFB Summer Meals Program

Branding & Campaign

Studio: Eighty2Degrees | Client: CAFB

Many children who rely on school meals face hunger when classrooms close for summer. Through its Summer Meals program, Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) ensures kids continue receiving nutritious meals when school isn’t in session. To raise awareness, we developed a vibrant campaign featuring playful, anthropomorphic food illustrations designed to excite kids about healthy eating. Paired with engaging bilingual typography and a bold call to action, the designs appeared on posters, banners, and billboards, directing families to meal locations. On-site, volunteers wore branded t-shirts, while kids received fun foodie-themed temporary tattoos—turning meal distribution into a moment of joy.
